Tuesday Tip

Well, this is my first Tuesday Tip and I wanted to think of something grand, but I think I was thinking too hard! lol Here is my tip for today:

If you use a patterned paper for the background it is a good idea to back it with a piece of coordinating cardstock. Just trim 1/4 inch off of two sides of the patterned paper so the cardstock makes a nice border around at. This border gives the layout a nice finished off look as well as adds some sturdiness to the page.

Another tip next Tuesday! Happy scrapping!

  1. gr8 tip! I need to come sit with you and take a class...you pick the most amazing papers & colors & put them together so nicely...that is one of my biggest challenges I think. I frustrates me so.

  2. Thanks so much! Sometimes it frustrates me as well... I sometimes sit in front of papers forever trying to decide how they should go together. Feel free to ask any questions or give suggestions for future tips! Happy Scrapping! -Michelle
