I haven't been able to do any videos lately because I had borrowed my dad's camera and he needed it back... so I will be doing 'Tuesday tips' until I can use the camera again!
This week's tip is about an alternative way to shade your paper piecings or die cuts. I use the Cat's Eye chalk ink for most of my shading along with actual chalks, but if you don't have just the right color it can be frustrating. You can use a 'Versamark' ink pad or pen to add depth and shading to your pieces. This ink pad and pen give a watermarked effect which basically means that wherever you apply the ink it will become a darker shade of the paper color. You can find these 'Versamark' ink pads and pens at your local craft store such as Michael's.
Never thought of that. Thanks, I will be doing this.
